Has anyone ever tried this method? I can not deal with the brake squeal and am not excited about upgrading to ceramic pads as I did with my M Roadster. Please comment on the following link:

brakes are still likely to be loud. Zeck's methodology is SOP but be aware you are using a street compound-won't take too much to get them very hot.

Do you think that I would be better off just making the switch to ceramics? I think that I put Porterfields on my M Roadster and there was almost no dust or squeeling.

yes, unless you track your car, ceramics are the way to go.
