I left my 88 300ce in the indoor carpark in work for a couple of months and then proceded to loose the keys!, Whe I found said keys (Under Matress, dont ask!) I had a go at starting her up. It appeared to be very low in, or out of fuel and would turn over readly but not start. So I put in a small Jerry Can of petrol, Still the same. Ive checked for spark and it is getting spark, Any Ideas?

Its always been a bit iffy at startup hot or cold needing a good bit of cranking to get it running but no life now at all. I tried pouring a bit of fuel inside the air filter again with no joy.

Any Ideas?

I had a problem once where it would start and if you turned it off it took about 5 min to start it up. The problem was the fuel cells on the car had gone bad, had them replaced and is working now. Good Luck.
