I want to post a positive experience with BMW service, since most of the postings are so negative.
my 02 (August build) i bought Nov last year with 24K mls.
I only not too long ago noticed that the front rims had a slightly smoke finish and the rears (all stock 18inch) had a more bright aluminum finish.
I never had them repaired and the records from the previous owner did not show rim repairs or exchanges and the dealer actually took the tires off to check it out.
Make a long story short, the dealer told me they decided to replace my 2 rear rims (with the stock smoke finish).

other's scoffed. It's just soo out of the way..I'm in the hts. I usually go to midtown, my SA collects cars and knows how to treat them...

Glad it worked out.

BMW Houston North has been great to me. After about a year of ownership, the paint on the front bumper of my car was horrible, not just rock chips, but flecks coming off. They had it repainted as a warranty item, then I got Clearbra a couple of weeks later. Always easy to get an appointment, often get a Z4 as a loaner, I'm happy with them.
