Wife comes home, parks. Car won't restart to move into garage. Howcum?

It has been suggested that the accumulator is bad... anyone confirm this car has one? The idea is that there's a check valve in the system which holds fuel pressure for the next start, before the pump can build up pressure. And that this check valve (maybe part of the accumulator?) is failing when hot.

My daughter has a 1995 C-280 and it will not restart when hot. It has been at the dealer 2X but they cannot find anything. Advice is most welcome!
