My daughter bought a new Mars Red 6-speed manual C230 Sport. She's been hearing stories about the wheels being "too popular" (with those who don't own them). In fact, she told me that someone on her street parked their C-class on the driveway, and came out the next morning to find their car on stacks of telephone books!

Mercedes offers a set of wheel locks for $70. Are there alternate sources which aren't as costly?

We looked at an auto parts store yesterday, and there are many sizes and types, at prices from $10 to $50, maybe more. We weren't sure what the right size / type would be, and we didn't take the time to remove a lug bolt (or does the car use lug nuts?). Does anyone know?
2001 530i manual, Anthracite / Gray, Sport-Premium and Convenience pkgs, folding rear seats, sunshades, and Nav.
