Hi everyone.

Visiting from the M3 board. I am currently driving an M3 and planning to change my car in the year 2006. SL is one of the alternatives and I extensively test drove the SL350. Very very nice car but not enough power for me. I am thinking of the SL55 but it costs 225000 here and before I can justify that kind of money I want to make sure that there are no short term planned body changes or a model change. I appreciate the input and thank you very much!!

There's a 6.3 liter non-supercharged AMG engine that will find its way into the AMG SL in a couple of years. There's a regular new 5.5 liter 4-valve-per-cylinder engine that will be in the regular SL line in roughly the same time period. There will probably be a minor facelift next year. There are rumors about a F1-style nose, but I don't put much stock in them.
