I am planning to buy either a S500C or a S600 C, are there any difference to their outlook? I was told that it's better to stay away from 600 because of so many problems with their rear suspension and overheating issues. Is that the case?

The cars I am looking at are both 1994 model. Any changes at all to the exterior for later models, say 1998?

Thank you.

Not to be a smart [Oops!], but the difference is one litre and 4 cylinders. The S600 usually has a few more features as standard. The later models have a glass sunroof with interior shade. Also side impact air bags.
