Hi guys,

I'm normally in bimmerland but interested in the current XJ. My dad just traded in his S430 for a Vanden Plas and I really like it - so does my wife, who's always wanted a Jag.

My parents have had XJs for years, an '80, '84, '93 (I think) and a '96. Still have the '96, but now they've got the '05 too.

Anyway, I'm thinking about adding an X350 to our stable. I've got a thing for wheels and tires, and wondered if any of you are putting on high-end wheels. I was thinking the x350 would do well with something like 20x9 fronts and 20x10 rears, something comparable in size to a popular setup for an E65 7 series.

I particularly like a meaty rear lip, so the XJR wheels, or the ones on the XKR Silverstone (I think it's called) don't have. I'd appreciate any pics or links of some X350s with nice wheels to give me some ideas.

Thanks for any tips.

Dave

I have a set of HRE's on order for an '04 XJR. 541R model, 9.5"s in front and 10" in the rear. I'm pretty sure I can squeeze 285/30-20's in the rear. The car's lowered about an inch so we'll see.

Will you post some pictures of those on your car? I would love to see how that looks. I have not seen any X350's that have different wheels on them.
