Any ideas or troubles others have had?? Maybe just need to change the blub(s). Blinkers radio and heater AC work fine just no dash lights so carry a little flash light to check oil and heat. <img src="http://www.jacksoncharvelworld.net/vee/82Benz.jpg">

ok, first check to see if your dash light dimmer switch is turned all the way up, its the same knob as your trip odometer reset, turn it clockwise to brighten, counter to dimm. If no avail, you may have to replace the bulbs, replace the dimmer switch at the same time, or bridge it---meaning that the dimmer switch will be stuck on full bright all the time, also, when you have your dash pod out, put aluminum foil over the top of the pod--this allows less light to escape the pod, and reflect light back in. I have done this to mine, and I can see my odometer while driving at night. Also when you replace your bulbs, replace them with 5 watt bulbs. The side marker bulbs out of like a 2000 s430 mercedes crosses.
good luck,
