JEM Motor Corporation in Hollywood, CA? We're looking for a slightly used E46M3 SMG coupe/convt and the dler name came up.

Any best model year to go w/ or stay away? Thanks in advance for all the tricks & tips.

Thanks,TP.

They buy many of their cars from the Manheim highline auction in Riverside. I almost bought a 996 Porsche from there before I bought my M3. If I remember correctly, the owner is pretty meticulous in the cars he picks up at the dealer auctions. I've seen many nice exotics there- Ferraris, Lambos, etc.

In term of model year, I would go with 2003.5 (april production) and up to get all the latest updates such as DVD NAV and LED lights. Good luck.

my 2002 smg was never the same after second bearing recall. ended up trading it in. suggest you do a side by side comparison with a new M3 at the dealer. my car would not idle as smoothly other M3's and the difference between mine post recall and a new one was noticable.
