I think I heard the M Coupe will use the same offset as the E46 M3 so I was thinking of finding a used set of E46 M3 wheels to use for the track. Anyone have other options or can confirm the E46 M3 wheels would work as I don't actually have my car yet....August delivery, probably means October :)

I think track wheels like the RAC RS110's from the e46 M3 will fit. TC Kline has just got in some Ray's Engineering forged TE37's to his specifications. front's (or if you chose to use them on the rears too) are 9.5x18 with 35 offset and rears are 10.5x18 with 30 offset. The wheels are $750 a piece. Here's a pic of their M Coupe at BMWCCA O'fest.

go to www.mototcitybmwcca.org and look in the gallery. TC Kline's car is the white M coupe, ours is the silver non-M. There are several pictures of both in the gallery, all taken at Gingerman during Octoberfest.

Start with this pic and scroll through the next several. There is a close up of the front wheel and another of the rear. TC Kline's car.

Just visiting from the z3coupe site.
I've have very good experience with Kodiak wheels of Canada. Turn around is 6 about weeks. Light, strong and fitment is as perfect as you spec them to be. CCW out of Florida (I think) also builds a custom wheel for about the same price.

I know this is a blasphemes statement but…17” tires are so very much less expensive than 18s. A XXX/40/17 tire will be very similar in size to a XXX/35/18. Though it will perform slightly less than the 18 (maybe .5 sec on a 2min lap) you will save $200 to $500 a set on tires. I my case, that’s a new set of wheels per year in savings.

Best of luck. Good to see you have the car where it belongs. Stay safe.

new M coupe has I believe the M3 comp package rotors up front which are 14" in diameter. I don't think you can fit 17" wheels over those monsters.

As for Volk TE-37's. I run them on track and they didn't cost anywhere near 2700. Its a great wheel, strong, light. they can be ordered through a shop out here in LA. have to get the name from home.

If I recall correctly, the Z4 fits same offset so I would think 18x9.5 all around with ET -35. Run a 10mm spacer in back and you can rotate wheels to maximize tire wear.

If any of you M coupers are in the LA area and want to test fit my wheels, let me know. Should be fun :-p
