I am a bit confused here with regards to the engineering series numbering system BMW is using (surprise). Why is e92 being used for the coupe version of an e90? e30, e36, e46 (dont know about e21 if coupe and sedan were both used) used the same for the coupe and sedan (and even for the saloon version of the M3 in 98 and 97 for the e36). Explanations PLEASE?

Also, any CONCRETE plans for a saloon or touring version of the e92 (cringe) m3 ???
