When I trade in my 2002 X I am considering an alluminum XJ certified.
I have had transmission issues and steering vibration issues-all resolved under warranty. What problems have XJ owners experienced? Also is the vechicle any good in the snow -what kind of HWY MPG can I expect? I find these boards helpful in gauging a purchase. Thank you for all comments.

I don't think you'll go wrong with the new XJs. They seem to be holding up really well. My VDP is almost two years old now, and has been fantastic. If you upgrade, get ready for a big increase in the overall refinement and quality in the XJ. It is faster and handles better than the X type; and gets much better mileage as well. You won't regret this move.
