The past gen. caddy's have a more aggressive front and to me the new ones look way more girlish. What do you guys think? (the only thing I like is the new grill). By the way I received an 06 one because I just cant get over how bad the new ones look.

Hey, I think that the 07 looks way better then the 06's. But the 2004-2006 cadillac escalade esv platium looks awsome. I am planing to buy a 07 cadillac escalade esv but i am also considering the 06 esv platium.

For my first car I went with the 06, because the 07 looks too round and girlish. Now I'm expecting my XKR next month so it does not really matter anymore. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything ,but I only liked the 07 grill and the new side vents. I have read here about people putting those vents on their 06 models. That would look awesome, it would be the best of both worlds. I might do that.

I hate the way the 07 grill looks, it looks like a ford truck. I just bought an 06 and I love it.

I have an 05, and recently sat in an 07 and their seats are not as comfortable in the leg areas. I like my seat support extended to the leg bends and the 07 does not offer that. Recently drove my vehicle to the Midwest and back to the East coast and did not experience any driver fatigue. I prefer the bold awsome frontend look of the 05.

I have owned an 01 escalade, and 04 escalade. I just traded in the 04 for an 07. I love the looks and like the fact that it is something different after 6 years. THe other thing is that after 6 or so years of making htem ther are so many older escalades out there and for 50-65 thousand I want to drive something that I dont see my landscaper's helper driving (he was in a beat up 01,his name is Chico, and he is barely legal .. i swear)

we think the 06 looks cooler and more important we got a killer deal on a brand new white diamond AWD out of the Chicago area back in Sept 06 . the issue with the new GM SUVs is the differentiation is too subtle so it looks like a new Tahoe/Sub at first glance. the 07+ is more refined I guess you could say as opposed to the meaner or beefier looking 02-06

I just want to say that I am brand new and just sticking my nose right in and may be posting on an old posting. The one thing David G and the rest can say is the 07+ motor has got more power with about same mileage. of course now all the 02-08 are all a dime a dozen all over by now

I like the 07 model, but yeah, there's definitely a big difference in design. The newer model seems to be more classic than the rugged design we're used to.
