I thought I remembered seeing instructions to do this somewhere but I cannot seem to find it... Anyone know where a nice, simple write up is?

TIA!

However, I prefer using green w/white or yellow stripe for the V1. This is hot in start and run. If you use violet, your V1 will be on while you are sitting in accessory position trying to listen to the radio, which is kind of annoying. You can find green w/stripe in the taped up bundle of wires that goes from the map lights down to the mirror/rain sensor.
DaveZ - http://www.zeleznik-klein.com/z4
