Here are a couple shots of my car as it arrived home from the paint shop today. A lot of trim to be remounted still. Surface is very smooth and no dents/dings are present. Overall very pleased.
<IMG SRC="http://members.tripod.com/~petersiposs/320-paint-lft-front-web.jpg>

Peter S
Hey, that looks real nice, congrats! White is a very nice color for the E21, and it's going to look real clean with the blackout trim. Hey, did you spray the mirror with gloss black too, or is that just the light in the pic? When you get the trim back on, you're going to have one of the nicest free cars ever, you lucky dog!
-alan
83 320i
79 320i

I think it looks pretty good, but then again, my car is white with turbines too!

The mirrors and window trim was painted in gloss black at home which really looks more like a blend of semi gloss. I figured it would age more and more semi anyway. I had the mirror off during the body paint. I only put it on to drive home. I have a power problem now too and a near dead battery to replace so its rather time consuming.
Peter S

Hey, that looks real nice, congrats! The black trim will compliment the already existing beauty of the car. Mount the license plate beneath the bumper though. I looks way nice down there. When that baby receives a lowered suspension treatment..........
Klaus
81 320iS Beige

Here are a couple shots of my car as it arrived home from the paint shop today. I thought about moving the plate to below the bumper but it was already at the paint shop. The holes for the original mount are still there. Too late!
PS

The black trim will compliment the already existing beauty of the car. Mount the license plate beneath the bumper though. I looks way nice down there.
