Hi all. I recently bought me a ī83 745i. What engine size has that model? (The intakemanifold says 3.2/3.5?)Also mine has got a 4-speed auto, I read somewhere that they only came with 3-speed?? (Which isnīt all so bad considering I have gone over 160mph) And it has 16" Alpina rims. Did Alpina ever modify the 745i? Well one is broken and I am in search of a 16*8 ET24 Alpina rim(s). If you have any please email me.
With thanx in advance!
Daniel Gunnars
The 3-SPD auto is also with the block change, pre - 3spd, post 84 4-spd. What does your grill kidney look like? If the kidney is NOT Built-in its a 84 or latter, which would be the reason for the 4-spd, if it is maybe its a late 83 - don't know? Good luck with the beast!
Edward
84,85,86 745i(s)
87 535is
