The XF's competitors are cutting the MSRP in Canada by 15% in 2008 as the Canadian dollar is now par with the U.S. dollar. This includes BMW, Mercedes and Audi according to this article.

Jaguar currently charges $65,000 for the S- Type R in the U.S. and $86,400 for the same model in Canada.

This is an obscene extra profit on over 32% based on currency alone.

If Jaguar has any hope of selling volume of this car they are going to have to be very competative. I would love to get one but if they don't do a major pricing restructure between the two countries I will have to buy my second choice - a BMW M3.
