02 with 80K miles. Rear suspension has a knocking/creaking sound when it articulates (one side is higher or under more load then the other). I've jacked the car up and inspected every bushing and pivot point/mount underneath and found nothing that appeared abnormally worn or broken. I have noticed the diff is weeping fluid, but that's it! And, no it's not the classic drive train "clunk". Is there anything I should be on the lookout for, or has anyone experienced similar issues?

Thanks

couple things, check for a broken spring (ive had 2 break) or maybe broken rear shock mount (that might be more of a rattle though)http://forums1.roadfly.com/preferences/showsigimage.php?img=38874

More importantly are your rear tires wearing excessively, or unevenly?
They are not easy to see because they are bolted up into the chassis underneath. If you have not had them replaced already, there is a good chance they are bad. Mine went out around the same mileage you have, and I was an exception as far as I have been able to figure, most people had theirs go out with far less miles.

Both check out ok.

negative on the excessive tire wear. After a visual inspection there is no obvious problems with the bushings, but like you said they're not easy to see.

Which bushings did you replace, #4?

Replaced with OEM and added the delrin inserts to stiffen and support the suspension so I won't have to replace them again in 40k miles.

hard to see !

the uneven height is definietly spring trouble indication. I know you checked but check with the car lifted and suspension hanging.
