MY RIGHT HAND LAMP LOCATED ABOVE THE WINDSHIELD KEEPS ILLUMINATING. I REALISE THAT THEY ARE TOUCH SENSETIVE, BUT I AM NOT TOUCHING IT!

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS? IF SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

Must be a short circuit. See the dealer.

By the way how did you remove the grille in your XF? Thanks for any tips.

Yes, my wife has this problem on her 2009 XF. Light comes on by itself intermittently without pressing. She just presses it off for now. Will notify dealer at next service unless it gets worse. Anyone know the fix? -Bob.

Just went to my dealer about this - he called it in to Jag and they have had about 10 owners complain about it. My dealer ordered a new center overhead console for me.

Its not too big of a deal but it does freak me out at night when it pops on...

this happens when you try to adjust the rear view mirror. Your knuckle will get close enough to the light to trigger the illumination.

At least, this is why mine does this, I finally noticed.
