1999 STS Suspension Warning Light -
Recently I took my 99 STS to the dealer to have them check and reset the Service Suspension Warning Light.
The service manager was a good guy and said basicaly all these vehicles have this failure and that since GM does not make the parts anymore the fix is a minimum of $800 and no one bothers to do the repair.

Further he said there was no way to shut off the warning light which comes on every time the car is restarted since the sensor is built into the shock.

Any advice on how to get this bloody warning light shut off would be much appreciated.
