after changing the battery, it drains a new battery every two days. what could be the cause?

Do you mean your keyfob is going dead immediately? If so then you have a short in your keyfob or the keyfob circuitry/button is bad and once you depress the button the circuit stays closed. W/ the circuit closed it will only take a couple of days for the fob battery to die. Either way it seems you need to purchase a new keyfob.

thanks for reply, it does not drain immediately. it opens and closes for 2 days, then is dead. mostly the lock button flashes by itself, even when I am far away. so I take it has no short, but the lock button flashes after installing fresh battery by itself, sometimes just by picking up the keys, it flashes about 4 times, then intermittently does it again.
