Damnit! I miss my cycle! Last year I sold my TLS which was a replacement for an FZR1000 which replaced a CBR600F2 which replaced an EX500 which replaced a bicycle.
So, with the arrival of my son, I thought I could be happy with a fast car (purchased a concours condition Porsche 928GT to go with the daily driver Accord), who needs a bike?? Wrong answer. No matter how fast the car is, it's dog slow in comparison and IMHO not as fun. Safer? Yes, but no where near the grin factor.
So, anyway, there really is no point except I was thinking M3 + GSXR1000 in the spring but BMW has screwed up this dream so now maybe S4 + GSXR1000. I need something of a rear seat so unfortunately Boxster and S2000 and M roadster are out, and M5 too much money for me. I did try the CL-S for S&G but the car is way too soft in both acceleration and handling.
Heck, there are *some* people on this board who get upset when some of us talk about 2 wheels, but what the heck, it's not like any of us have our e46 M3's yet!
Steve, once a rider always a rider. If you have passion, it always creeps back no matter what you try and justify. The 2-wheel itch is stronger than common sense!
Like all motorcyclist (especially sport bike owners) know, the accelleration on bikes is amazing. My RC does 0-60 in 2.9sec and who the hell knows what the top speed is, I only took it upwards of 160 and it still had room to breath. When you crank it over in the twisties there is nothing like feeling one with the machine. Ahhh....
Let me know what you think about the new gixxer, it looks amazing on paper, weighing just 7lbs more than the GSXR750 and no doubt having more power than my RC which is about 126hp at the rear wheel.
Keep the rubber down!

Damnit! The perfect garage, a monoposto (one seat for the non Ducatisti) bike for "those" days, a two seater for bringing the little woman, and a E46M3 for every other day! (besides, Kevlar and leather don't go to well at nice restaurants, so m'lady needs a carriage
-m

Damnit! I miss my cycle!
