Of course the yellow Ford from American Graffetti (still alive and well) has it's "THX 138" plate. I don't know if he has "THX1138" but it's taken already. I met the guy who has "1138THX" and he told me George offered to buy his plate but he wouldn't sell it! And up at the ranch he's got one in a trophy case, "1T1H3X8".
Anyways, the link below is useful if anyone wants to find a personalized license plate...

Or does Lucas already have that one =). "THX 1138" was George Lucas' first film, released in 1970. It was adapted from a short film he did in college called "THX 1138:4EB (Electronic Labyrinth)" which he did in 1967.
Very cool, loki.
Unfortuantely, here in MO we only get six characters for our plates. THX 138 doesn't have quite the same ring.
I put in just last week for "MPOWER". Hoping that's available, but not holding my breath.
~jedinite
bmw.jedinite.com

he was really entusiastic about how much he liked true sports cars, M cars in particular. I'm sure he'll love the S2000 - its about as true of a sports car as they make these days.
I jokingly asked him if I could have the plate in the trophy case and he kindly declined :) Looks like you got a plate that is even better! How'd you get it so fast, by the way?
Cheers,
Kevin
'00 M Coupe
Did you go up to the ranch recently? I thought you had your eclipse while you were there?
Anyways, I had the plate ordered for sometime now and it's been ready since august... but as you know I literally didn't have any car to put it on. So to kill two birds with one stone I got my plates when I transferred the title yesterday. And I'm already getting razzed at work. :P

he was really entusiastic about how much he liked true sports cars, M cars in particular. Jedinite,
Maybe you've seen this one done before; ther is a guy in West Michiganwho drived a Volkwagen Jetta TDI. He took the 'JE' from Jettan and the 'DI' from TDI and you guessed it, 'JEDI'. If I ever see it again, I'll try to get a pic.
adios,
Shane "yes my real last name is" FORCE

Geeky plate on my S2k, maybe someday on the M3!

George (who happens to be a 5-series owner) is suppose to come by and check it out next week, he should get a kick out of it.
Cheers,
-loki
