M3's and no promises for Feb. or March. I am tired of the BMW National Marketing folks and all the car magazines beating the drums about a car that NO one can buy.

From what I was told by BMWNA they don't just ship a car when it's ready. Considering the latest "rod stretching" issue, the vendor who supplied that part and all the other vendors who supply parts must make a sufficient inventory available as spares. This is for replacement oem when the vehicle needs service.
How would you like it if your brand new M3 broke down (hopefully not!) a week later and there were no replacement parts in the US and you had to wait like 1 month for the part to be shipped and then replaced at your service center?
There's more to making a car and just shipping it over. I think.
GigaEnvy
