For those who've seen or ordered.
Is the Nappa grey darker/lighter than the usual 3-series grey leather? and correct me if I'm wrong but LSB and Kiwi interiors are still not available in the US right? You are unfortunatly correct, LSB and Kiwi interiors are still not available in the US.
I hope that MY 2002 brings greater interior color choices as well as exterior (or at least the opportunity to special order).
I think LSB interior would strongly compliment Carbon Black or LSB or Steel Blue, and would order those combinations if given the chance (and no chance of two-tone alcantara).
~jedinite
bmw.jedinite.com
audi.jedinite.com

We don't get that color of leather at all in the US. It should be called Kiwi, and there's been reports of it showing up in Canada under the name Olive which is either a mistake or just BMW being very confusing.
Oh, I'm not saying that they're different, just that Kiwi seems to be the correct name for that color based on all of the countries in Europe using it. The only "Olive" citation seems to be coming from Canada - maybe BMWCA felt that Kiwi was locally offensive or something, but this seems to just be a slightly confusing re-naming of an existing well established color.
Just my $0.02 - hopefully we'll keep folks informed so they know what the color looks like and what name to call it in their local area so they can just get their car put together right :)
