FOR SALE<p>1969 2800 CS, 5 speed, 3.45 limited slip differential 97,635 Km (60,000 miles). Completely restored. He is selling it to help finance a film he has finished shooting (priorities?). He is working on scanning some pictures so just e-mail him with questions etc. The following is from an official appraisal that was done in 1998. They valued the car at 20,000-22,500 Canadian. The car has never been winter driven, and has been stored inside for about a year. The muffler will likely need some work soon, and it needs new rubber around the passenger and driver's windows. <p><br>TAKEN FROM APPRAISAL<p><br>This a very unique, totally restored vehicle. This car was built in the first production run of the 2800 CS models. Based on serial No.s is one of the oldest cars of this type in existence. It is of monocoque design (unibody) that was completely restored. All corrosion was expertly reconditioned or replaced. The entire assembly was stripped, primed and refinished inside and out. It was then reassembled with all new, perfectly reconditioned or immaculate original components. The paint and body work are all of the highest quality and provide the finishing touch to a total restoration. The restoration was performed at a professional refurbishing facility, Rote Technology Inc. Very nice three-piece grill. Completely restored factory fenders all around.<p>ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very good running motor with twin carbs, rebuilt red and new battery. Every piece is painted and detailed, all new hoses. clamps, hardware; the entire compartment looks like new.<p>INTERIOR: The interior is all original. Woodgrain in dash and door panel sets off the whole interior. Optional SCHEEL bucket seats are in very good condition. The door panels are also in very nice shape.<p>UNDER CARRIAGE: Solid undercoated, with all new brake lines, calipers and rotors. The European-style exhaust system is also very solid and complete.
