I know this has probably been answered 100x, but I can't find a direct reference in the archive, and a quick answer would be great. Anyone?
TIA

That is too tall. 235/40-17 is a better fit.

Thanks. I know that 235/40 is OEM, and would be better, but... I have a set of 235/45 snows, and would like to know if they will rub. The visual difference is insignificant, but I just don't want to hurt anything. Any info?
mc

That is too tall. 235/40-17 is a better fit.

Those should fit ok for that purpose. Your speedometer will be off slightly. It won't hurt anything.
