Here's the latest pic from Kathy Lyle's M coupe. For the "NASCAR-style" doorbars to be installed, the door had to be gutted and the glass removed from it.

--Alan

Sorry about the blurry picture; I'm not the photographer. If you're interested, here are the answers to your questions: seat is a Recaro racing seat; steering wheel is a Momo; belts are TRW Sabelts; chip is by JC; shocks are Koni double-
adjustables; cage is custom by T C Kline's guy,
Mark McMahan. T C prepped the car for me. It's classed in SCCA T2 and CCA HS; I race mainly SCCA so it's built to those rules (a/c is removed, etc.) though I'll be doing at least one CCA race, at O'Fest. We had to put lead ballast in the passenger footwell to make weight (3,000 lbs). My race schedule is posted under the "Racing" area of my website at http://www.lylecpa.com . Join us at the track; we can always use crew members!
Kathy
: Alan:
: the pi=ctures are great (alright this one is a little blurred), can she give us a description of what was done to the car: Like what steering wheel she put on, seat choice, where she'll be racing etc...
: thanks
: : Here's the latest pic from Kathy Lyle's M coupe. Car sounds great. Let us know how you do. Have you put the car on 4 tire scales to see how well the car is balanced - with and without the lead ballast? If you do any racing on the east coast let me know - i'll help crew.
: Sorry about the blurry picture; I'm not the photographer. Good luck this season Kathy. I'll try to make it up to the June Sprints and check out the Coupe in person. If I miss that I do plan on being at OFest.
Jim

I noticed that you had a window decal that said Sewickley--are you from Sewickley, PA? My husband is an 83 graduate of QV.
Debi
South Carolina

Moved away in '83 to graduate in '85. Great place. Does your husband remember a John Bergeron? Maybe it is a small world after all.
John B.
