I gave tire rack a call, and the guy said that the 95 M3, unlike the newer M3, is only designed for same size rim and tires all the way around. It will hurt the performance of the car if you went with different sizes. They recommended 18 x 8.5 all the way around the 95 M3, but recommended 18 x 8.5 (F) & 18 x 10 (R) for the M coupe or roadster. Though, I think M3 should look quite nice with the M roadster rims.

Just called BMW dealer, and they said that the offset of the M3 versus Z3 is 6 mm difference for both front and rear, thus it will not fit. Just wondering, why would you spend so much money on factory wheels? The M star wheel is $458.46 for front and $520.62 for rear. Kinda pricy don't you think.

Well if Tire Rack says so...

: Hi all:
: Anyonw know if the M-roadster rims would fit on a 95 M3?

The fronts on the M-Roadster/M-Coupe are identical to all four wheels on the '95 M3. So you'd need four fronts.
The M Roadster wheels would bolt onto the back, but they'd stick *way* out, and probably rub the fender on bumps.
Josh

the M coupe rear wheels sticking out about 2" past your rear wheel well. The 2.8 Z3 optional 17" wheels are the same width and offset as the 96+ E36 M3; 7.5 x 17 front & 8.5 x 17 rear, all with 41mm offset. These will fit your M3.
The MZ3 roadster/coupe has the same front size and offset, but the rear is 9.0 x 17 with 8mm offset. The 95 E36 M3 came with 7.5 x 17 size with 41mm offset, with the 96+ M3 staggered size optional. So as Josh mentions below, you will only be able to get the M coupe front wheels to fit your 95 M3. Ben Liaw had a complete set of four front M coupe wheels for sale a while back. He had them on his M3.
