Finally did the Alpine CD/MP3 changer in my X. It works great! Had a chance to test it out for the weekend and so far, so good. Thanks to the guys at Mobile Innovations in Lodi, NJ for this upgrade. Here are pics of the install and the parts. BTW, this MP3 solution is for non-DSP systems. I don't think they offer anything for DSP besides going through an FM modulator. This is through the factory wiring, plug & play. Plug the factory wires into the Soundgate module and the Alpine wire goes out to the changer. You're done. Factory brackets fit onto the Alpine changer perfectly!
