I purchased a '94 740iL that is prewired for a CD changer. I was told by the folks at sound warehouse that I would have to get three things if I wanted to install a CD changer in the trunk. 1. An adapter, 2. an MBUS cable, and 3. A CD changer that is compatible with the dash system. They told me that the only CD changer they knew of was a Pioneer model and it cost around $600 because it is a special order changer. At that price I might as well stay stock and get the BMW changer. Does anybody know of a trunk mounted CD changer that is compatible with the 1994 prewired BMW system?
