There's a product called "Back to Black" that will work wonders on those trim pieces. Give it a shot and let us know how it turns out.

Thats a mothers product right? I've used that before on my mouldings that run over the door and it would look ok for a day or two but first rain it goes back to the spotchy appearance?

What about back to black dye?

Yeah there's a dye version of Black to Black that works pretty well. Unfortunately, there's not a permanent product for re-dying the trim...just the nature of the beast.

Try "Black again". Work it in well with a soft tooth brush. The product must be exposed to UV radiation (the Sun) to have its full effect.
