So, I want to build a E-30 TURBO. I have a 2.7 ETA to start with. If i put on a 325i head and lower the compression that would be good right? Will I need the i pistons & rods as well or should I just go with the ETA pistons and rods? I am running an complete i intake already with big bore t/b & 19lb. injectors.

Any answers out there...

Brian

are you sure that the compression ratio is 7.5:1? that is really low. I have this set up on my car, and before I put the turbos on it, it ran awsome, not much slower than stock at all. It seems to me that an engine with that low of a compression would hardly run..and forsure not keep up with the stock i engine at all...

They are smaller IHI turbos, not sure of the exact specs off hand, I am currently running the stock ECU Motronic 1.3, upgraded from 1.1
