86 900 ninja in perfect condition w/ stage 3 mods $2500. I bought the M3 to replace this and a legend sedan, I kinda fancy it to be a mix of the two but still have the bike and need to sell it, just haven't had the heart. But when you put it like that, as in a nice set of cams,..... hmmmmmmm.

That's funny, I actually sold my Ducati 748 just to buy my M several

I take both of my bikes to track days and race the Ninja.
I take the M3 to track days as well, but not as often as I take the bikes. Also, I think dollar per fun factor - bikes are unbeatable!
So my question is NO, I wouldn't give up a bike for mods!
If you don't do that sort of activity and only use the bike ever so often, then it's a different matter...
Just my $0.02

Why do people always ask questions like this?
I might if I had to, but if the price of any of my bikes was the reason I couldn't afford a mod, I probably couldn't afford it after selling the bike.
Unless you ride a Harley, in which case sell it for $20000 and do it up, you're better off without it (sorry harley guys)
My Rupp minibike won't buy me much, even though it is modified.
Make up your own mind ok, what do we know???

I have a 1992 Gsxr 750 streched 8 inches.Just painted 2002 vette yellow, New $800 Exhaust etc I've had it 2 years and have done everything to it since I have put 87 miles on the bike in the 2 years I have owned it.The bike was stock when I purchased it. I have put alot of time and money into it. It has Chrome everything thats aluminum except the Frame Chrome engine covers, gas cap,swingarm,wheels,pegs+Brakets,clip-on, calipers etc,. I think that I'm gonna let it go though ,Love my M3 way to much. I think I'll get something newer and faster next year.Like the gixxer 1000

The bike is just way more exciting. Yamaha R1 for the acceleration at the track and the M3 for slighty more sedate track days.
