Nothing new, just the view from the other side of the pond...

However, this article actually has a pick of the Mk2.

"The US is set to experience the Lotus Elise now the roadster has been made to meet the country's tough new car regulations. The Norfolk-based manufacturer has a lot riding on its two-seat star, which is filling the gap that will be left when American sales of the Esprit stop in 2003.
But the Yanks don't seem to have fully grasped the concept of the purist sports car the US Elise will have air-conditioning, softer suspension and leather seats as standard."

My girlfriend lives in Cambridge, about 60 miles away from Norfolk. I told her that when I go over there I want to visit the plant. I'll bring back PLENTY of Pix's... ;)
