- hardtop with engine vent scoop on top
- fastback glass and slightly different back end
- wider fenders front and rear
- bigger and wider wheels (16/17" instead of 15/16" on elise)
- front spoiler
- rear wing
- new ECU (same as esprit v8 but diff program)
- better exhaust
- i believe suspension settings are slightly firmer (?)
- it is available with optional bigger brakes

the aerodynamics actually work, producing something on the order of 100lb downforce on each end at 100mph (forget exact numbers). that's about it that i recall...

in europe, the road elise S1 had a 118hp base, 135hp in some models and 160hp in the hottest version whereas the exige comes with 177 and has an available 190hp upgrade pack. the new elise was at first only available in 120hp trim, and now a 135hp has been announced, as well as the s2 equivalent of the S190 for track only.

here of course both the elise and the exige have the same 190hp motor, but the exige has the better ecu and exhaust - so the real numbers are something like 183hp for elise and 189hp for exige.
