I just got the Haynes manual, and it appears to suck. Does anyone have any recommendations for an economical shop manual? How easy are the factory manuals to follow? Where can you get them from? Thanks.

The Haynes manuals aren't very good.

The Porsche manuals (4 volume set) are pretty good but they cost a lot.. Try searching on ebay and see if you can find a used set. Usually someone will have a set for sale in Pano also.

The tech manuals are not hard to follow, and provide a huge amount of detail beyond the Haynes. No major task should be attempted without them.

We have the 6-volume set for $224.41.
