I'm trying to decide between a slightly used (8000km) 01 Boxster S for CDN $72000 and a new 02 Boxster S for CDN $83000. The used one was a dealer demo and I'm told has a few stone chips and a curb rash or two. The cars are almost identical. What do people think about the prices? Advice?

The smart money goes for the 01S. The emotional side goes for the 02S, smell of new leather etc. etc. This is your call. If the used one gives you problems you will be upset. When you sell the new one, if you take a large $$ hit, you will be upset that you didn't take the 10K savings. Which will you be less upset about? Go with that one.
