I'm trying to figure out what to get, I don't think I like the new AC-S Tips, so unless the sound impresses the hell out of me I'm over that. So I really was just trying to decide between the Hamann and Tubi. I have no idea though when Tubi is going to release their exhaust. Anyways thoughts, insight?

The Tubi system was speculated to be out mid-October, but it looks more like mid-November. Unless you are in a big hurry, have you thought about waiting for the Supersprint system due out 1/02. The SS will sound really nice and they will have a performance header and resonator kit available as well. We are taking preorders right now and already the list is long, but we are a Supersprint dealer so we have them on the way. The Eisenmann is currently out of stock and they are having trouble producing enough for the demand.

Have you heard it? Sounds amazing! The only problem for me is that it costs $2500! But if you were willing to get the tubi, this shouldnt be a problem. I'd go with the Hamann, it gets rid of the raspyness and maintains the charecteristic BMW sound. Its awesome. Wish I could justify spending $2500 on a muffler.

Zoli, it's hard to determine that the Hamann exhaust gets rid of the raspiness just from the sound clip. If in fact, the raspy sound is caused by the exhaust manifold, then it doesn't. All it's doing is blanketing the sound or the sound on the Hamann site is not accurate.

the SS exhaust will sound like the Hamann. I'm sure Hamann spec'd out unique packing/baffling to obtain a different exhaust note.

the exhaust is slated to be $1550. I figure the header is $1800. Still unclear as to how they are going to do the cat yet. The performance resonator will be about $450, while an available straight pipe eliminating the resonator completely will also be available.

What and where is this resonator on the M3? I can only see the
cats under the car and then the big muffler in the rear. Is the
performance resonator replacing the cats, or? Thanx! /RS

Right now, I have 12 orders for just the muffler. There are also a few orders for the resonator and some for the header/cat.
