The highlights are washed out on this photo. It has a finely engraved shift pattern on the top. It's not real aluminum, but that makes it warmer in winter. Matches the Matte Chrome trim perfectly.

your chrome finish is different from mine, are there different from mine, just got a silver m3 with black interior, but the finish is darker

the 330Ci. If you have a 2002, you have "Titan Shadow," which is much darker.

yeah i like yours better, is easy to replace? the titan shadow looks like plastic:(

I had my dealer replace before I picked the car up. You can do it yourself. Removing the door and rear side panels is time-consuming, but not especially difficult. I paid $360 to have the dealer do it. The Matte Chrome is painted plastic, also, but is a pretty good imitation of real aluminum. You won't find real aluminum trim for the arm rests because of their complex shape.
