I found an "allocation" at a dealer in PA a couple months
ago. I gave him my credit card number to put down a deposit
and he said we'd finalize everything first week of November.
So the first week of November comes around and I don't hear
from him. I call him and leave several messages to no avail.
His boss then calls me today and says that he's never heard
of my order until today and that the dealer I was working with
took a "leave of absence". He said all the allocations are
already spoken for. I'm going to check my credit card bill to
see if he actually took a deposit since his boss told me he
didn't see a receipt attached to the order. so now I have to
start my search again. Anyone know of any MSRP-only dealers
with spec'able allocations?

Check with Sewickley Car Store near Pittsburgh.

Thanks. I'll do that. I am in California and am trying to
get away from the price gouging over here. That's why I went
looking in the east coast. If anyone know of a CA MSRP dealer
with an allocation to be spec'd, send email!

Try Steve Thomas in Camarillo. They used to have a pretty long list but allot has changed since I was there last. I heard not to long ago they had a Cab for MSRP. It did not last long. They only sell at MSRP and they treat people right. I would be getting mine there but I'm in Phoenix now. Mine is being delivered Thursday!

Just called Steve Thomas BMW...they have 17 people on the list.
If I can't find a dealer with less than that in CA, I might put
myself on it. Thanks for the tip!

E-mail: They sell at MSRP, I don't know how long
the wait list is, send him an e-mail to find out. He is a sponser of
this board and a really nice guy to do business wit

Unspoken for at MSRP. Ask for Joan Blake. Apparently it is not overloaded with options. Hope this helps.
