I just got back from one of ware house near in monrovia.
I just installed the Tubi exhaust.
Now I'm debating, the sound is soo loud, so deep I can say.

If anyone want to hear the sound feel free to stop by, I live in Arcadia. I don't have my digital camera right now.
I don't know if I'm going to keep that. Or maybe I should get use to it.
The worst part is the tip. I wish I can change the tip style.

Thanks,
Hanan

TSI Components is the only distributor of the exhaust in the US. I have been in touch with them regularly and the say the exhaust is not here yet. Maybe in a week or two. If in fact what you say is true, post some pic's to prove it. Otherwise don't waste messageboard space.

david

Even Evosport says that it is a few weeks from getting here. BTW, it is supposed to retail for $2300.

david

If this guy didn't like the tips, why would he spend upwards of $2300 for the exhaust. I believe the post was a hoax.

if you want, you can stop by. I bought it from interautoparts. YOu can call the Tsi components if interautoparts is one of the distributor.

Sorry guys, I wish I have my digicam. I know without pictures I cannot prove anything. If anyone live in LA would like to help me to take pics I will appreciate your help! If anyone going to Irwindale tomorrow for Auto cross, we can arrange some apppointment, so that you guys can see the muffler and hear the sound. I'm not going for auto X because my engine haven't break in yet from Engine Failure #33 (Jason engine failure).

Sorry guys, I don't mean to full the message board with nonsense word.

Thanks,
Hanan

Like I said, TSI components says the exhaust is not in the US yet. Another week or two was the last update I got from them earlier in the week.

stop f^&*^#%&%^#g wining like the one whor#$^*% that you are.

Leave the guy alone, let him enjoy his new exhaust, not everyone buys their shi343t from the US. have u ever heard of airmail, u dum34325432ass. maybe its cause ure jealous that exhaust is on his car instead of being in your bed for some odd reasons that we onlly hope don't exist.

Everyone seems toooo jealous over here, give me proof, pics blabla bla...this is just a messageboard about our love of cars, not your manners of wasting time!!!!

If you can ask them, please do so.
No flame please!
Tell them about Gary from interautoparts!
Check the message board again later, I found somebody who is willing to take pics later this afternoon!

Thanks,
Hanan

listen bonehead, I've been in contact with TSI Components, the only US distributor of the exhaust, and they say that it is not arrived in the US yet. Now unless he got it thru another source, which may be the case. So why don't you chiil out!!!

david
06-08-2002, 06:49 PM
Well I will be calling TSI Components again sometime this week. So if in fact you do have it, I apologize. Why would you spend that much for it if you don't like the tip? It's the first thing you see.

good. That is why when he said he has it, and give me pretty good deal, then I say OK!
I was thinking to change the tip if I like the sound. Then after driving 10 miles the sounds gets louder. I was wondering how about when it gets 5000 miles. It is going to be much louder I think.

That is my problem right now!

Sorry once again of posting a message without enough prove! I'll try to prove it!

I personally think the tips will be great. I really didn't like the tips from SS and Eisenmann, so that is why I am considering the Tubi. I checked out the Tubi M5 exhaust a few weeks ago at TSI Components and it looked sweet. Now those are smaller at 4 x 70mm. A little too small for my taste.

Hello,

You've got someone posting from your IP space at ppp-222-167.usc.edu causing trouble on a message board at <http://forums.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e46m3/>. His profanity and general disposition is tiring. Anything you can do about it for us?

Thanks,

No schools so far. I just passed the second stage of break-in at 3,100 miles and I'm starting to open it up a bit. It's using a small amount of oil, probably 250ml every 1,500 miles. I think I'm going to use your Oil Change DIY this week before I push it too much.

Isn't this guy weenermann an idiot?

some of the other pic's didn't show up. Strange, the tips don't look like 80 mm. Also they seem to hang off the lower valance too low. I guess I will have to stop by TSI Components this week to get a better look. The must have got them in after I called them. They had told me it would be another week or so due to customs.

Hanan, once again let me apologize for the uncertainty. With all the BS on this board sometimes, it hard to figure out whats true or not. When you say deep and loud, have you heard SS or Eisenmann to compare it to? Is there any droaning? What about rasp?

JETcpe
06-08-2002, 11:39 PM
ones are actually too close to the valance IMO, so I think it looks just right. I agree about the tip size though.

I listened to Supersprint and Eisenmann Sport and Race.
Supersprint is way too quiet.
Eisenmann sport almost similar to supersprint.
Eisenmann race is more throaty, Tubi is more deep.

From inside I'm not really sure, I'm sure that the Tubi is too loud for me for the first couple miles.

Thanks,
Hanan

installing? From the Tubi specs, their exhaust is actually 2 lbs heavier than OEM. Don't know if that was a typo.

Change my mind to sell it :)
Let me know when are you coming. I'm free most of the time after Wedenesday. Summer break :)
If you have your recorder with you that will be great, so that we can share the sound to other people on this board!

Thanks,
