my car has been sitting there for 8 days now.. as i understand (from BMW NA customer service) it is unusual for a car to sit at the port over 5 days...assuming it leaves today, how much longer do i have to wait before the car is in my hands, rough estimate? bare in mind i live in chicago. thanks

there for 3 weeks - I ended up being there 17 days! 10 -17 days across the pond (depends on boat schedule) 3 -10 days to get off the boat and through VPC and I'd guess 3 days to Chicago.

Hope it's later than week 24. I have a week 24 build. Mine seems to be a bit ahead of some of the other week 24's by a little bit. It hit the dock on the 17th and left on the 20th - three days wait. It is supposed to dock in NJ on 1 July. That would make the trip 11 days. My salesman says the car should be at the dealer by the 5th, but with the holiday in between I might be looking at the week after.

Good luck.
