I have a spare set of Dunlop 8080 from a 99 M3. I measured the tread depth at 1/8" across all 4 tires. Nice even wear.
What was their original depth?
Is it worth popping these back on after the current set expires? Figuring that it will cost roughly $100 for mounting balancing.

Thanks, John

They start with 10/32nds and you have 4/32nds. You can still get some good miles out of them.

be careful in the rain though!
and every tire has a certain amount of base compound - thickness comprised of rubber that is very hard and slippery - so again, be careful.
