I have the same car/options/miles minus the sound system. When I tested the market for a possible sale, I'm getting offers ~ $48k. Does that seem right?

7 layers of Zaino would bring it up to 45k.

A $55k MSRP would be an almost completely loaded M3. You've not listed many of the major options - leather, premium package, sunroof, 19 inch wheels, heated seats, etc.

Based on what you have listed, your MSRP should be closer to $50k. No fair counting your sales taxes, licence fees and other such things into "msrp". Whoever you sell it to is going to have to pay all of those again which is why buying and selling cars every year is inefficient.

$48k in 1/02. Was a \'01 6sp cpe, AW, 18k mi.

Would NOT have got that much if new cars were available then.
