I have XM - Alpine. It works great and the stations are far better than what is on the radio. I have a small box like antenna on the trunk (I have a cab).

Do you need to replace the OEM head unit? Or does it work in parallel in some way (aux?)

Do you lose the steering wheel controls?

Did anyone in Canada pick one up yet?

any disadvantages?

thanks

Hi
you don't have to replace the headunit if you use an alpine module - runs through the cd changer aux (if you have a cd changer it won't work).
everything works normally - no loss of steering wheel controls
xm sounds awesome!
