Anybody having trouble putting the after market (K&N Filter) filter in. It took me a while to place the unit in there, I am still not sure if the filter is correctly placed. I am a pretty mechanically inclined person, I know I am not the issue, it is the filter. The filter seal(rubber) contact is harder than stock. I couldn't get the filter box to close, I had it close last night although it is somewhat tight but I got it close. Still a bit worried if I had that filter perfectly centered. Anyway, just wandering if any of you guys experienced this (to those who has the K&N filter)and could give me any advise. Thanks in advance!

Apparently someone else had the same problem you are having. For some reason the K&N filter does not sit very well in the box, and this guy who was using one noticed a lot of dust entering the box. You may want to keep checking if you notice any dust as well, because the last thing you need, is letting stuff get into your engine.

Do you have a K&N filter? Are you using just the stock filter? Thanks for the info, Imola.

I don't have a K&N filter at the moment, still using the stock one. I just ordered a ITG filter from Evosport for $55. I've heard good things about the ITG filter. So let's see, I'll let you know if there is any difference after I install the ITG filter.

Thank you, I think I will return it and replace the stock back in there. Thanks again!
