Conducted a few high speed runs today with the Tazzo VPC (similar to the G-Tech.

Dislaimer: I am not claiming this time to completely accurate as this was not done at a track. It\'s \"supposed\" to be fairly accurate, per the manufacturer. However I feel that it gives a pretty good ballpark figure.

as they usually are with GTech machines or other devices as such. ET's can be off as much as 1-3tenths. At best high 107mph on a great day. Dave.

the final (I think 100 yds or so) of the run which is why T's "trap" speed seems higher. I've never used Tazzo but in my old car G-Tech was VERY close to actual 1/4 mile times (like +/- 1-2/10ths) - but with higher trap speeds then posted on the ticket (for reasons stated above).

When I picked up the car on October 26th at BMW of Macon, I immediately went on vacation and drove it Memphis, TN. Then back through Atlanta for 3 days, then back home to Florida. All total I put close to 1100 miles in the FIRST WEEK! I\'m just over 1300 miles now.

As stated, got the 1200 Mile service today, so this was my first opportunity to really open it up and see what was under the hood.

I read someplace that RPMs should be increased gradually from 5500 after you hit 1200 miles. Don't know how critical it is...

Anyway- thanks for the numbers.

BTW- your car is a perfect example of seeing color combo before making color choices; it looks real cool- I wouldn't have thought of that combo. Went with SG/G to combat TX heat.

...unless you do it in 30 degree weather with a good tailwind, or use drag slicks. Won't get there on street tires.
