I emailed you a zip that has the PSD photopshop image in there with the layers and stuff, you could mess around with it if you like.

the problem is that (as marauder already pointed out) there just isn't enough "to go on" in that photo to make a really accurate color translation. still, i applaud your effort!

if anyone is still feeling adventurous (and isn't yet angry at my requests), i welcome someone to try to change the centers to this silver color:

Timeless classics that look great. It's not over the top ... understated elegance. :) Definitely my vote.<br>

Meem.

Centers of what? Don't quite understand, I though the other picture was to make the white M3 Be Red.

Are you refering to the new picture.. You want to make the wheels themselves, match the silver finish of the vehicle.

If thats the case i'll give it a try tomm. its gonna be tough

Because of the lighting effects. might have to re-render the lighting effects after the transition of coloration. But we'll seee what time i have at work.

sorry for being unclear.

i'm looking to see what the red m3 would look like with silver centers (the same as those in the picture i included) rather than charcoal centers. note that the silver in question is the silver in the *wheels* in the photo, not the color of the mercedes itself.

the bbs lm has been done quite a bit on the m3, so i was trying to see if i could come up with something a bit more distinctive.

still, odds are i'll never see an m3 with lm's on the road, so it's probably not a big deal :-)

I'm kinda understanding what you want, Is it just the center cap, or you want to replace the whole rim?

Is that why you were saying theres not enough colors to go by, because that would make a whole lot of sense...

I'll give it a shot, just let me know if its the rims or just that center cap. I think your talking about that center peice thing (cap)

the whole rim -- but the lip should still be polished. basically, i want to replace everything that was charcoal (dark gray) in the original picture with silver :-)

does that make sense?
